Cincinnati Children’s Hospital
Cincinnati Children’s, a nonprofit academic medical center established in 1883, is one of the oldest and most distinguished pediatric hospitals in the United States
Children learn through play and staff at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital help children adapt to new environments by including toys as a way to process their healthcare experience. Perhaps even more important, a playful atmosphere has the ability to bring smiles to the faces of children and adults alike. Donating a toy to Cincinnati Children’s is one way to bring cheer to a sick child’s day. As we care for kids of various ages, we are always in need of toys, craft supplies and other items throughout the year for children from infancy through age 18.
Can't make it to the show? Don't live in Cincinnati? That's okay. You can still help children in need. Purchase any item through the Amazon Wishlist and select 500mtm as the shipping address when you checkout. We'll be accepting online donations until Dec. 22nd.

The Caring Closet
The Caring Closet is a charity in Hamilton, OH that serves Hamilton City School District students that are in need. We provide clothing, a pair of shoes, a coat, new underwear and socks and basic toiletries to kids that do not have these things. Last school year alone, the Caring Closet provided 898 boxes of these items to 898 kids in our community. Kids that live in our neighborhoods. Kids that we pass at Meijer or we see at the park. Our kids, Hamilton’s kids.
Counselors identify a child in need and send the Caring Closet a request for items. Once we receive the request, we fill a box for that child with the requested items and the child’s counselor makes sure it gets to the child’s home. The Caring Closet is completely community supported. Parents bring us bags of gently used clothing, businesses send us checks, children have friends bring donations for the Caring Closet rather than gifts for their birthday parties, schools collect socks and churches come together and do drives during the holidays. We can not do what we do without the support of people like you.
Items to collect: (All need to be unopened and full size, we can not use travel size.)
